  1.   SpeedOpen is Shareware

  3.   You may use and test SpeedOpen for 30 days for free. After that time, you have to register your copy of SpeedOpen if you want to continue to use it. By registering your copy of SpeedOpen, you directly support the further development of this XTensions. The price for the registration is

  5.     Single-user license: US$ 35,-
  6.     Multi-user license:
  7.       US$ 35,- for the first user,
  8.       US$  7,- for the second to fifteenth user,
  9.       US$  1,- for all remaining users.

  11.   A 10 user license, for example, sums up to US$ 98,-, a 20 user license costs US$ 138,-.

  13.   There are two ways to become a registered user of SpeedOpen:

  15.   1. Send the registration fee in cash or as a check to:

  22.   Please specify your address, the name to which you want to register your copy of SpeedOpen (e.g. your name or your company's name) and (if present) your fax number and e-mail address.
  23.   If you send a check, please note the following remarks, according to your location.
  24.   European countries: if available, please send an Eurocheque issued in DM (Deutsche Mark). If no Eurocheques are available, please send a bank check issued in your country's currency. Please convert the US$-prices given above to DM or to your local currency using the current exchange ratios.
  25.   If your country is a member of the EC (European community) and if you have a VAT-ID number, please specify this number on your registration.
  26.   Non-European countries: please specify the amount in your country's currency. If necessary, convert the US$-prices given above using the current exchange ratios.

  28.   2. If you have access to CompuServe you can register through CompuServe's shareware registration service (GO SWREG). The registration id for SpeedOpen is 2757. This method can be used for single-user licenses only.

  30.   As a registered user, you recieve a serial number that you have to enter in the registration dialog together with the registered user name. This dialog is opened by selecting Register‚Ķ from the SpeedOpen submenu. If you have a multi-user license and want to use SpeedOpen with several QuarkXPress versions having different serial numbers, you have to perform the registration for each QuarkXPress version.
